grew up listening to her mother’s bedtime stories about Molokaʻi. The planting of these early seeds inspired Kaylin to dedicate her life to storytelling. was adopted at the age of three from Yunnan, China and found her home in Hawaiʻi. The vibrancy and rich texture of the islands have become a constant source of inspiration for her work. Mae graduated from the University of Hawaiʻi at Manoa with a degree in Studio Arts.
