  • Timothée de Fombelle

    Timothée de Fombelle spent part of his childhood in Morocco and the Ivory Coast. He founded a theater troupe in high school where he wrote and directed plays. Having become a professor of literature, he teaches in France and Vietnam. In 2006, he wrote his first novel for young people: Tobie Lolness. which has been translated into thirty languages. He has received the Sorcières, Tam-Tam and Saint-Exupéry prizes in France, the Marsh Award in England and the Andersen Prize in Italy.

  • Benjamin Chaud

    Benjamin Chaud is an author and illustrator of more than 60 books. Award-winning books include The Bear’s Song (hélium) and I Didn’t Do My Homework Because… (Chronicle). He was awarded the Gold Medal by the New York Society of Illustrators, and nominated for the Astrid Lindgren Memorial Award three times. He lives in the southeast of France where he specializes quietly in drawing animals that squint.
